JJ Otero Maple and African Padauk Wood EarringsItem No: 10391
JJ Otero (Navajo/Hopi) has fashionably combined modern elegance with the timeless beauty of natural wood. These earrings are made of maple and African padauk, and feature handmade wires.
Otero has appreciated art most of his life. Outside of a short stint of painting success in 2010, JJ worked diligently on his music passion and IT career spanning 25 years.
The latter was shaken up and he found himself moving back to the Navajo reservation and looking for a means to make a living in 2016. During this time of resetting, chores around the family home required Otero to be resourceful with materials such as wood, metal, and tools.
These earrings measure 3 inches long by 1 inch wide, and come with a certificate of authenticity.
