Native Americans are inspired by their rich cultural history and the traditions of art, dance, community, and cuisine that have been carefully handed down for generations.This drawing depicts two Hopi maidens watching the dances from the rooftop. They are dressed in traditional Hopi clothing along with the famous "Squash Blossom" hair dressing in a matted 8" long and 10" wide.
Dalton James is a self-taught artist from Hopi Pueblo, and is a member of the Tobacco Clan from the village of Hotevilla in northeastern Arizona.
